David Kurt McCune
David Kurt McCune, 66, North Manchester, died at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at his residence.
He was born in Great Falls, Mont., to Lloyd and Irma (Lowmaster) MCCune, on Sept. 21, 1949. He was a welder in Kansas for five years and retired as a security officer for Pinkerton’s Security in Wabash and Huntington. He married Juanita Wireman at Grace Theological Seminary on June 21, 1975.
She survives, along with brother: Patrick Lloyd (Susie) McCune, Va.; nieces: Jennifer; Rachel; Rebekah; Emily; nephew: Nik.
David attended Faith Baptist Church, North Manchester. David enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, playing guitar, riding motorcycles, and talking to people. He loved going to church, fellowshipping with people, and his dog Cookie.
Calling will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, at Faith Baptist Church, North Manchester, before the 11 a.m. Wednesday service, also at Faith Baptist Church. The service will be officiated by Pastor Jim Baughman. Burial will be at noon at Swank Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, North Manchester. McKee Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
