
Minnie P. Sliter, 71, Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly at 2:57 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
Minnie was born Oct. 22, 1944, in Bremen to David and Mattie Jones (Pedigo), both of whom preceded her in death.
On Nov. 28, 1964, she married Wayne Sliter. He passed away March 12, 2016. She is also preceded in death by eight sibings.
Survivors left to cherish her memories include her children: Gina (Rick) Hesch, Lakeville, Michelle (Joe) Heckathorn, Rochester, and son David (Rachael) Sliter, Lakeville; seven grandchildren: Tyler, Kayla, Kenadee, Amber, Maison, Braden and Logan; a sister, Louise (Doug) Golden, Bremen; brother, Doug (Tina) Jones, Mishawaka; and several nieces and nephews.
Minnie worked at Easy Heat, Lakeville, more than 20 years and recently retired from Lapaz Burger King, where she was a breakfast manager roughly 20 years. She was a very valued and loved employee.
She loved camping with her family and sitting around the campfire. She enjoyed going with her husband to car shows and cruise-ins. She valued her time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 22, at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday, March 22, in the funeral home with Rev. Steve Cox officiating.
Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery, where she and her beloved husband will be laid to rest together.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions made to The Desi Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund or the 3C’s Memorial Fund.
