Robert Loren Gross, 65, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Robert was born the son of Raymond Lawrence and Marjorie (Bower) Gross on March 2, 1951, in Plymouth. Robert graduated with the Plymouth High School Class of 1969. He also graduated from Purdue University, and was Alpha Gamma Rho. He farmed the Gross Dairy Farm and enjoyed working at the golf course in maintenance. Robert was a member of the Saint Michael Catholic Church in Plymouth.

Robert is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Donald W. and Connie Gross, Plymouth; his dear friend: Janet Moose, LaPaz; several cousins; nephew: Matthew and Meghan Gross; great-nieces: Georgia and Violet; his uncle and aunt: Roger and Jane Bower, Warsaw. Robert is preceded in passing by his parents.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is assisting the Gross family with the arrangements. A funeral service for Robert will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth, with Fr. John Korcsmar officiating. Burial will follow the service in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth. A time of visiting with the Robert’s family will also be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, in the Van Gilder Funeral Home.

The Gross family has requested memorial contribution’s in Robert’s name be given to the donor’s choice.
