Dorothy A. ‘Dottie’ Beck, 66, Columbus, died at 8:03 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016, in Columbus.

She was born Nov. 18, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Marvin C. ‘Bud’ and Dorothy May (Yost) Beck. She was a beautician.

Dorothy is survived by daughter: Jodi (Nick) Rittman, Columbus; brother: Marvin ‘Pete’ Beck; sister: Linda L. Beck; two grandchildren: Parker Rittman; Sloan Rittman. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother: Wayne A. Beck.

She was a member of St. Roberts Catholic Church.

Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at McKee Mortuary, before the 1 p.m. funeral, also at McKee Mortuary. The funeral will be officiated by J.P. Freeman. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
