WARSAW – Fans of the Warsaw boys basketball team are invited to a sendoff for the team on Saturday.

The regional-bound Tigers will depart WCHS at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Fans can gather outside the Tiger Den near the South Silo to see the team leave for Michigan City.

No. 5 Warsaw (23-1) will face South Bend Riley (22-5) at 11 a.m. EST Saturday in the opening game of the Class 4-A Michigan City Regional. Crown Point will face East Chicago Central in the second semifinal game. The regional final is set for 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Warsaw fans can also still purchase sectional championship T-shirts today and tomorrow in the WCHS Athletic Office. T-shirts are $10 each.

Regional tickets are also still on sale until noon on Friday in the WCHS Athletic Office. Tickets are $10 each and are good for admission to both semifinal games as well as the championship game. Single-session tickets, priced at $7 each, will be available on Saturday at the doors at Michigan City High School.
