WASATCH COUNTY, UTAH — A sweeping grab saved a Utah pooch after days stranded on icy waters.

“Sadie” survived four days and three nights on the ice and her owner tried several tactics to lure the dog to safety. But when the ice started to melt, they called for help.

After several attempts, and Sadie running from rescuers in fear, rescuers finally were able to get to the dog after she fell through the ice.

The sheriff used an air boat to pull up beside Sadie and pull her to safety on Friday. A veterinarian checked her out and says Sadie is going to be just fine.
