SYRACUSE  — Syracuse-based Poly-Wood LLC will cut the ribbon next week on a new $23 million manufacturing and warehouse facility. The expansion, which was announced last July, is expected to create up to 250 jobs by 2018.

The ribbon cutting will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7. Officials with Poly-Wood and the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance.

The new facility will complement Poly-Wood’s existing operations in Syracuse. The company said last year the facility will allow it to meeting growing customer demand and help streamline the shipping process.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered the company up to $1.8 million in conditional tax credits based on job creation plans. Poly-Wood manufactures and sells all-weather plastic outdoor furniture, made mostly from recycled materials.
