AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School wrestling team earned a win over Triton by a 79-27 final.

Leading the way for the Vikings with wins by pins in the match were Drake Montelongo, Andrew Burke, Jacob Eherenman, Lucas Goble, Cooper Slone and Luis Castillo.

Branson McBrier won by a major decision for Valey in the victory, while Matthew Davis, Hunter Eherenman and Joseph Irons all won by decision. Brandon Hammer, Tyler Nine, Andy Hurd, Ian Becker and Trey Hardesty all received forfeits.  In an exhibition match, Nathaniel Arnett earned a pin.
