NEW YORK — Indiana was represented on Thursday’s “Tonight Show,” but maybe not in the most flattering way.

In his weekly “Hashtags” bit, host Jimmy Fallon asked Twitter users to tweet odd facts about their hometown, using the hashtag “#MyHometownIsWeird.” Viewer @_hoosier_daddy_, a man named Trent, tweeted about Seymour and made the cut for the show.

One event that might bring Mellencamp back to his “small town” is a proposal moving through the Indiana Statehouse to name part of Interstate 65 in his honor.
