Marvelene M. Stacy, 78, North Manchester, died at 11:29 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.

Marvelene was born on Sept. 10, 1937, in LaPorte County, to Walter and Hattie (Shei) Christoph, both deceased. She married Joe B. Stacy on Jan. 19, 1957. He died April 6, 2011. She was a cashier at CVS for 12 years, retiring in 1999. She attended Liberty Mills United Methodist Church, Liberty Mills.

She is survived by her sons: M. Joe Stacy, North Manchester; Jerry Stacy, Fort Wayne; raised one grandson: Jeremy Stacy, Indianpolis; daughter: Jennifer Stacy, Huntington; brothers: Walter Lloyd Christoph, Chicago, Ill.; Duane Christoph, Dodgeville, Wis.; sister: Betty (Charles) Freestone, New Carlisle; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son: Jeffrey P. Stacy, 1998; one daughter; Gerri Denise Stacy, 1957; one brother; and two sisters.

Calling hours will be from 2-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at McKee Mortuary, with a 4 p.m. Friday graveside service at Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet, and will be officiated by Andrew Duffy. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association, Wabash County.
