Allen R. Graber, 69, North Webster, passed away at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born on March 17, 1946, in Warsaw, to William J. and Nora (Slaubaugh) Graber.
He grew up in Marshall County, graduated in 1964 from Triton High School in Bourbon, and was a United States Army veteran. He was married on March 20, 1971, in Plymouth, to Ruth Ann (Holdeman) Feldman who survives, and lived in the North Webster area for 45 years. He retired in 2010 from Pacemaker Buildings after 34 years and formerly worked at Homer’s Bar and Grill in North Webster.
He was a member of the Church of the Brethren in North Webster where he served as head deacon and treasurer, Lakeland Kiwanis in North Webster, and was a former member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.
He is survived by his wife: Ruth Ann Graber, North Webster; Kristin Graber, North Webster; three sons: William (Kelley) Graber, Edinburg, Texas; Jerry (Amy) Feldman, Winona Lake; and Phillip (Vikki) Feldman, Kimmell; 12 grandchildren; two sisters: Margaret (Ervin) Miller, Goshen; and Elva (Royce) Farmwald, Goshen; six brothers: Joseph (Ruth) Graber, Spooner, Wis.; Dr. Benjamin (Norma) Graber, Waterloo; Clarence (Grace) Graber, Elkhart; Glen (Ruth) Graber, Spooner, Wis.; Carl (Candace) Graber, Evergreen, Colo.; Arden (Evidene) Graber, Etna Green. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Lloyd and Homer Graber.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Church of the Brethren, North Webster, with Pastor Bob Wyman of the church officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
