AKRON –  The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School girls basketball teams posted a pair of wins in action Tuesday night.

The 7th grade A team beat Peru 29-13. Sidney Wagner led the winners with nine points. Hannah Parson scored six points and Rylee Kaufman and Hayley Backus each had four points. The trio of Haylee Brown, Taylor Olivarez and Taylor Biddle each had two points for Valley.

The 8th grade A team beat Peru 39-35. Jillian Walls paced the winners with 11 points. Emma Craig scored 10 points and Karina Young netted eight. Jadyn Kolesiak scored four points, Makenzie Woodcox two and Faith Bradford one for Valley.
