WARSAW — Ivy Tech Community College has scheduled several off-campus workshops to aid students and families in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
The FAFSA is the form required for students to be considered for federal and state grants, scholarships and student loans at most colleges, universities and vocational/technical schools. It must be filed by March 10 to be eligible for Indiana financial aid.
The workshops will take place at WorkOne, 715 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. Fridays, Feb. 19 and March 4. There also will be a session from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29, at the Warsaw Community Public Library, 310 E. Main St.
Students and parents/guardians should bring their completed tax return for 2015, W-2 forms and any other income or benefits information for 2015. It would be helpful if students and parents have applied for their U.S. Department of Education FSA ID at fsaid.ed.gov before attending.
