Lilian Morales, 26, Alexander Street, Plymouth, has been booked in the Marshall County Jail on charges of forgery and identity deception, both level 6 felonies. Her bond is been set at $1,500 cash.
Plymouth Police Department was notified Wednesday, Feb. 10, by a Pennsylvania woman. She reported to police she had applied for assistance with her utility bill and was told someone was using her name and other identifying information for employment at a business in Plymouth.
The investigation by Plymouth Police Detective Leo Manges revealed Morales had presented counterfeit documents to her employer on Jan. 18 and forged a signature on a document. Mangus located Morales at her residence. During questioning it was learned Morales was from Honduras.
