WARSAW — Curt Barkey has accepted the position of Kosciusko REMC manager of information technology.
KREMC hired Barkey eight years ago as a GIS analyst. He was promoted to IT supervisor five years later. After only two years in his supervising position, Barkey’s skill and his knowledge of IT trends, data security and team leadership was apparent and he quickly moved into this management role.

“It’s clear that Mr. Barkey has a vision that will serve KREMC and our members well. He’s proven to be a great asset for this company and I am pleased to see him accept this new role,” said KREMC President and CEO Bruce Goslee.
Barkey lends his passion for the outdoors and biking to the community through his volunteer work with Kosciusko County Velo Cycling Club. It’s not uncommon to see him at community events. He strongly supports an environmentally friendly lifestyle and healthy community projects like the new greenway project and the bike festival.
KREMC has also promoted Tim Landrigan to manager of accounting and finance. Landrigan began his service at KREMC six years ago. He worked hard under the tutelage of his predecessor, Steve Miller, and he is fully prepared to take the reins in his new position.
“Landrigan’s potential was clear from the first day I met him. He has shown himself to be an intelligent and very capable young man. I am delighted to see him step into this new role,” Goslee said.
Landrigan was born and raised in Pierceton. He is a Whitko High School graduate. He holds his bachelor’s degree in accounting from International Business College.
