Richard Lee Personette, 57, Culver, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.

Richard was born Dec. 21, 1958, in Plymouth, and married Peggy Hansen on Nov. 11, 2011, in Culver. He retired from McGill’s Corp. in Valparaiso. He was a Cubs fan and a Peyton Manning fan. He truly loved his grandkids and to watch his tv hero, The Lone Ranger.

Richard is survived by his wife: Peggy; mother: Julia (Paul) Reece; children: Daniel Personette; Jena Personette; Nichole (Dustin) Stevens; Troy (Mallory) Ulch; Shawna Hawkins; Tyler Lowry; sisters: Susan Personette; Peggy (Steve) Siddall; Janice (Paul) Broeker; and Amanda (Michael) Wilcox; brothers: Scott Personette; Sonny (Carey) Personette; stepsister: Laurie Reece; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father: Homer Personette; nephews; Charles Personette; and Aaron Broeker; and stepbrother: Brian Reece.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Alexander Hineman Memorial Cemetery, Ora. Pastor AnnMarie Kneebone will officiate.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
