Paul E. Hayden, 69, Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, in Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw.

Paul was born on Dec. 12, 1946, in Muncie, the son of Harold and Leah Jean (Maddox) Hayden. He was a graduate of Muncie High School. Paul worked many years as an Engineer on the Railroad, often as a Crane operator. Paul was also a member of Grace Family Fellowship in Elkhart. The Hayden family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff of Miller’s Merry Manor and the Harbor Light Hospice that lovingly cared for Paul.

Paul is survived by his two daughters: Bryn Malagon, Warsaw; Malinda (Byron) Mansfield, Bristol; stepdaughters: Jennifer Bernal; Deanna Bernal; sister: Sarah Judith Kruse; brother: Bruce Hayden; and four grandchildren. Paul is preceded in death by his parents and brother: Jonathan Hayden.

The Hayden family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth. A Memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor David Howe of the Grace Family Fellowship officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
