LAGRANGE – Wawasee’s gymnastics team picked up another win over a sectional opponent, beating Lakeland 99.05-93.65 Thursday night.

Reagan Atwood rolled up a 34.15 all-around score helped by top scores on bars (8.0), beam (8.6) and floor (8.75) as well as a second-place score of 8.8 on vault.

Jada Parzygnot was second in all-around at 32.75, fueled by a second-place score of 8.7 on floor and third-place scores of 8.7 on vault, 8.0 on beam, 7.35 on bars. Alyssa Minnix contributed a 7.55 on bars, good for second place, and was third in all-around at 32.05.

Lakeland’s Ellen Gamble posted a 9.0 for the top score on vault and Whitney Ray was second on beam at 8.15.

Wawasee moves to 5-1 overall this season and will host East Noble Monday night.
