Kosciusko Chamber Names Man, Woman Of The Year

WARSAW — Kosciusko County has a new man and woman of the year.

The chamber held its annual dinner last evening, Thursday, Jan. 28, recognizing several local individuals and businesses for their contributions to the community.

Receiving the Man of the Year award was Jon Sroufe, while Jane Wear received Woman of the Year.

Jon Sroufe

Founder of Sroufe Manufacturing and Sroufe Healthcare Products, Jon Sroufe has a list of accomplishments contributing to his being named Man of the Year.

Sroufe is on the board of the North Webster Community Center, is North Webster Town Council president and has served on the K21 Health Foundation board of directors. He is commander of the North Webster American Legion Post 253 and has been a Wawasee Flotilla commander.

Jane Wear

President and CEO of Cardinal Services since 1996, Jane Wear has given her entire professional career to Cardinal Services. Beginning in 1976 as a Direct Support Professional and then moving into management, Jane is in her 39th year with Cardinal.

Jane obtained her bachelor’s degree in vocational rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin and attended Southern Illinois University for her masters in rehabilitation administration.
