Williamson, Glen J.Glen J. Williamson, 86, Warsaw, passed away at 4:46 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, where he was a patient in the Inpatient Hospice Unit.

He was born Oct. 17, 1929, in Wayne County, W. Va., to Wallace and Belva (Meade) Williamson, and served in the United States Marines from 1949-1952. He was especially proud to have served with the military police on Wallops Island, Va. He married Brookie Hager, in Mingo County, W. Va. Glen moved to the Warsaw area from Chicago, ILl., in 1962. He was a machinist at Zimmer, Inc. for 10 years, retiring in April 1975.

Glen was a member of Pleasant Valley United Baptist Church at Rose Hill, Silver Lake. He loved gardening and his cat, Puddy Tat; socializing with church friends, and most of all his family, especially his grandchildren and he enjoyed spending time with all of them.

He is survived by his wife: Brookie Williamson, Warsaw; son: Glen R. (Laurie) Williamson, Warsaw; grandson: Eric Williamson, at home; granddaughter; Emily Williamson, at home; brother-in-law: John Kisicki, Simi Valley, Calif.; He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Leslie Williamson; Elvie Williamson; and two sisters: Sherlene Williamson; and Connie Kisicki.

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at Titus Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home, officiated by Elder Bob Hackney; Elder John White; and Elder Arvil Murray. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
