MENTONE — Emergency personnel responded to an accident located at the intersection of CR 1000W and CR 500S in Mentone.

According to officials at the scene, the accident involved a single vehicle, which reportedly struck a power line. The vehicle reportedly rolled over during the collision.

The driver of the vehicle was flown from the scene by Samaritan Air Ambulance to a Fort Wayne hospital due to his injuries.

Officials note power lines are down at the scene and may still be active at this time.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Mentone Fire Department and LifeMed EMS were called to the scene.
