MONROE — The Whitko boys basketball team suffered a close defeat Tuesday night.

The Wildcats fell 57-54 at Adams Central to fall back to .500 on the season at 7-7. Nate Walpole led Whitko with 29 points.

Whitko will play at Northfield Friday evening with a 7:45 p.m. tip.
