AKRON –  The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School girls basketball teams posted a pair of wins Wednesday night.

The Valley 7th grade A team topped Whitko 29-8. Sidney Wagner scored eight points to lead the winners. Hayley Backus had six points and Hannah Parson four for Valley in the win.

The Valley 8th grade A team beat Whitko 41-9. Emma Craig and Makenzie Woodcox each had 12 points to lead Valley to the victory. Jillian Walls netted eight points, while Faith Kamp scored six and Karina Young two for the winners.
