Phillip G. Campbell, 65, North Manchester, died at 4:08 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, in Parkview Wabash Hospital, Wabash. He was born Oct. 30, 1950, in Chicago, Ill. to Glen A. and Betty (Brooks) Campbell.
He graduated from Woodstock High School in India. He graduated from Ivy Tech, Fort Wayne, where he received an Associate Degree in Robotics. He worked in Robotics at Weaver Popcorn, Van Buren, for several years. He was worship leader at Victory Christian Fellowship Church, North Manchester, for many years. He played his guitar to worship the Lord.
On February 11, 1984 he married his wife, Deborah. He owned and operated Campbell’s Carpet Cleaning, North Manchester, for 20 years. He attended Sweetwater Assembly of God Church, North Manchester.
He is survived by his wife: Deborah Campbell; his mother: Betty Campbell; one son: Christopher (Patty) Campbell; four daughters: Colleen (Eric) Harless; Tekoa (Chris) Garrett; Carissa (Leo) Guerrero; and Natina (Tom) Snow; one brother: John (Janice) Campbell; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. His father: Glen A. Campbell; and one sister: Margaret Foster; are deceased.
Family and friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Services begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Pastor Chad McAtee and Pastor Tim Morbitzer will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.
