KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — It didn’t take a thermostat this morning for many people in Kosciusko County to realize temperatures had once again plummeted. The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement in response to the low temperatures.

According to the NWS, temperatures in the lower, single digits just above zero and southwest winds around 10 mph will result in wind chill values from 5-15 degrees below zero through 10 a.m. this morning.

Those who plan to venture outdoors should dress in layers and ensure all skin is covered from exposure.
