AKRON — The Tippecanoe Valley High School American Studies class is hosting a chili dinner during the Rochester/Tippecanoe Valley boys basketball game Friday Jan. 15.

Chili will be served beginning at 5:30 in the high school commons and will be available through the varsity halftime. Freewill donations will be accepted. The purpose of this event is to preserve a piece of histor — Prill School, a historic, one-room school house that was built in 1876 and is located in Fulton County, Indiana.

The American Studies class would like the challenge both the Rochester and Valley communities in a “dinner bell” contest to see which school can raise the most funds for Prill School during the game.
