Car Crashes After Fired At By Passenger In Nearby Vehicle

GOSHEN — At approximately 8:18 p.m. Friday night, Jan. 8, officers were called to a single vehicle crash in which the occupants had suffered minor injuries.

During the course of the crash investigation, officers were informed that the crash occurred as a result of the driver attempting to flee from the vehicle which was directly in front of his vehicle immediately prior to the crash.  The victims additionally stated that a passenger in the vehicle in front of them held a firearm out of the window and shot at the victim’s vehicle.

The victim stated that he shifted the vehicle into reverse and struck a tree. The suspect vehicle left the area. The victims fled on foot to call police.

This investigation continues; there is no further information available at this time.
