WINONA LAKE – Everyone got into the act for the Lakeland Christian Academy girls basketball team Tuesday night.

The host Cougars got big contributions from the entire roster in defeating Cornerstone Christian by a 69-12 final.

Freshman Abigail Fishel led the way for the winning Cougars with a game-high 14 points.

LCA, now 8-7 on the season under first-year coach Allison Kauffman, led 18-6 after the first quarter and 37-9 at halftime versus the team from Fort Wayne.

Hannah Delp netted 12 points for the winners. Carissa Urschalitz finished with 10 points and six rebounds for the Cougars.

Rachel Sand scored eight points and Melissa Goss seven for the winners. Brady Gross scored six points and the trio of Ellie Nieveen, Gabby Catron and Anna Reimink each had four points for the Cougars.

LCA hosts Elkhart Christian on Thursday night and plays at Argos on Saturday.
