ELKHART — The Lakeland Christian boys basketball team was back in action Tuesday night. The Cougars traveled to take on potential sectional opponent Elkhart Christian and left with an 84-43 loss.

After trailing just 20-11 after the first quarter, LCA only scored a combined 10 points in the second and third quarters before opening up for 22 in the final frame.

Jon Harmon led LCA with 20 points, Josh McDaniel added another 10. ECA had four players in double digits, led by Tyler Litwiller’s 25 points.

LCA (0-11) will travel to Portage Christian this Friday. The Cougars earned their only win of the 2014-15 season over Portage Christian.
