MENTONE — January is a slow month so far for Mentone as the council worked through a very brief agenda.

Council members were sworn in with Jill Gross as the new council president. Also sworn in were previous council president Tim Croy and council member Shelly Kreuger.

The next Mentone council meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1.
