WARSAW — No injuries were reported in an accident Wednesday, evening, Dec. 30, on East CR 250N, Warsaw.

Ethan M. House, 17, South Country Club Road, Warsaw, was driving a silver 2001 Dodge pickup truck behind Harold R. Smith, 71, South SR 5, Pierceton, who was in a gray 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck.

According to police reports, House said Smith hit his brakes and House’s truck rear-ended his. Smith later denied hitting his brakes. House admitted at the scene that he had been following too closely.

A passenger in Smith’s vehicle, Linda L. Smith, 67, South sR 5, Pierceton, was treated for complaints of back pain.
