
WARSAW — Bradley Martin Wine, 31, 1612 Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw, has been arrested on charges of possession of a narcotic drug, dealing in a synthetic drug or a synthetic drug look-alike substance in an amount in excess of five grams, and maintaining a common nuisance, all level 6 felonies. The charges were filed several days after police responded to a drug overdose at his residence.
Court documents, filed in Kosciusko Circuit Court on Dec. 30, state on Dec. 28, Warsaw Police responded to a drug overdose call. Wine was unresponsive, lips were blue, but had a pulse, when officers arrived.
Following a dose of Narcan, Wine responded and was able to breathe on his own. He told police heroin had caused him to become unresponsive.
A female at the residence told police she had found Wine in a bedroom unresponsive and possibly on heroin.
Police did find a plastic bag and cotton with a brownish tint in plain sight. A further search of the home found digital scales, a large amount of plant material identified as a synthetic drug weighing 325 grams, numerous plastic bags containing a tan powdery residue and a bag containing a tan powdery substance, and numerous drug paraphernalia items. A test on the tan residue tested positive for heroin, less than 1 gram.
Wine is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $5,000 surety and $250 cash bond.
