Ronald C. Keele 75, Rochester, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
He was born on Aug. 18, 1940, in Ill., the son of Charles Albert and Lorine Aldine (Schmidt) Keele. On Aug. 21, 1971, in Rochester, he married Bonnie J. Vigar. She preceded him in death on Nov. 15, 2004.
Mr. Keele had worked for many years at Sealed Power in Rochester and retired from the Dana Corp. He had been active in the Fulton County 4-H, especially showing rabbits and attending rabbit shows. He enjoyed watching sports, especially following Indiana University basketball.
Survivors include his sons: Thomas L. Keele, Rochester; William J. Keele, Rochester; sisters: Linda Swick, Plymouth; Sandy (Tom) Alber, Woodburn; brothers: Jim (Carol) Keele, Warsaw; John (Catherine) Keele, Concord, N.C.; Richard (Diann) Keele, New Haven; Mike (Linda) Keele, Fremont; mother-in-law: Regina Vigar, Rochester; several nieces and nephews. He was apreceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, and one hour prior to service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester.
