David E. Washington 50, Rochester, passed away at 12:49 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, at his residence.

He was born on April 21, 1965, in Gallipolis, Ohio, the son of Peggy Honeycutt.

He worked for the Norfolk-Southern Railroad for many years. He enjoyed going to flea markets, model building, woodworking and was a movie buff.

Survivors include his children: Sarah Caldwell, Orlando, Fla.; David Thomas Washington Jr., Calumet City, Ill.; Holly Lynn Washington, Kokomo; grandchild: Brendan Alexander Washington, Kokomo; mother: Peggy Honeycutt, Calumet City, Ill.; companion: Tammy Butcher, Rochester. He was preceded in death by his father.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester. Arrangements by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester.
