DonnaBelle Hostetler, 94, Elkhart died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at Beardsley House.

She was born April 7, 1921, in Goshen to Floyd and Nellie (Doty) Swinehart.

On Feb. 20, 1943 she married Kenneth O. Hostetler in Goshen. He died Aug. 5, 1982.

Survivors include a son: Jerry (Beth) Hostetler, Nappanee; a daughter: Eileen Borem, Elkhart; three grandchildren; a step-grandson; and four step-great-grandchildren. Along with her husband she was preceded by a brother: Ray Swinehart; two sisters: Eleanor Eash; and Ruby Berkey; and a step-granddaughter.

Mrs. Hostetler was a graduate of Jefferson High School and attended Zion Missionary Church, Elkhart. She was a homemaker and worked for many years at J.C.Penney’s.

Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, funeral service will be held at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Jacob LaBounty. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Goshen.
