Esther M. Holloway, 74, Mentone, and North Port, Fla. passed at 6:46 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital of Ft. Wayne, Indiana after being in failing health since Oct. 14, 2015.

She was born on July 31, 1941, in Evansville, to Charles and Martha (Angel) Leonard. She was married on Jan. 1, 1984, in Burket, to Robert R. Holloway, he survives. She worked for 25 years at RR Donnelley and Sons where she was a shipping clerk. She was a 1960 graduate of Elberfeld High School. She was a member of the Red Hats Club and Boat Club of Harbor Isle, Fla. where she wintered for 16 years. She was a NASCAR and classic car enthusiast. She enjoyed shopping, antiques collecting, going to car shows, and traveling especially on their yearly cruise.

She is survived by her husband: Robert Holloway, Mentone; daughters: Sherri (Rick) Nelson, Warsaw; Vickie Bradley, Mentone; son: Steve Holloway, Warsaw; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother: David Sultz, Newburgh. She was preceded in death by parents and son: Jeff Canary.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at King Memorial Home, Mentone, officiated by Rev. Amber Karkosky-Litten. Burial will be at Mentone Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, at King Memorial Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cruisin’ Hoosier Car Club.
