LAKEVILLE –  The trio of Mariah Owens, Chevy Teeter and Josh Back were the top performers for the Tippecanoe Valley wrestling team in the LaVille Invitational on Saturday.

Owens went 3-1 on the day at 11 pounds, whileTeeter posted a 3-1 mark at 132 pounds and Back was 3-1 at 195 for the Vikings.

Valley went 0-4 as a team on the day with losses to LaVille (60-15), South Bend St. Joseph (58-15), Bremen (66-15) and Mishawaka Marian (41-24).

Dylan Warner was 2-2 at 160 and Tyler Manuzsak 2-2 at 182.

Harrison Vining was 1-3 at 126 for Valley. Jameson Baker was 0-1 at 220 and Alvaro Gutierrez 0-1 at 182, while Isaac Lowe was 0-4 at 145 and Isaac Randall 0-4 at 152.

Valley competes in the Rochester Invitational on Wednesday.
