Jensen Returns Home From Hospital
WARSAW – The Jensen family got an early Christmas gift on Friday.
And what a special gift it was.
Phil Jensen, the WCHS football coach, was able to return home after spending nearly two weeks in the hospital. Jensen suffered serious injuries on Dec. 5 when he fell from a ladder at his home. He was released on Friday from a Fort Wayne hospital.
Jensen, who serves as an attendance coordinator at WCHS, has been the Tigers’ football coach for 16 seasons. He coached Warsaw from 1996-2003 and then return as coach in 2008.
Jensen played football at both Penn High School and Butler University. He and his wife Debbie have two children, Samantha, who is a 2013 WCHS graduate and a student at Butler, and Michael, who is a junior at WCHS.
