MILFORD – The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School 6th grade boys basketball team went 1-1 Saturday in the Milford Tournament.

Valley defeated Whitko 36-28 in its first game. Rex Kirchenstien scored 12 points to lead the winners. Braden Shepherd and Landon Walters each had nine points for Valley, while Payton Potter and DJ Estep each added three.

Valley then lost to Milford 42-22 in its second contest.  Shepherd led the way with 11 points. Estep netted five points, while Kirchenstien had four and Walters two.
