GOSHEN — It was a double header in the Maple City Thursday night as the Wawasee boys and girls freshman basketball teams both competed against the Redskins.

Wawasee’s girls won 33-12 to move to 3-0 on the season. Caitlin Wortinger led all scoring with 10 points for Wawasee while Kierstin Beckner added 10 rebounds.

Goshen’s boys beat Wawasee (1-3) 37-23. Mashal Miller led the Warriors with nine points.

The girls team will play Monday at Elkhart Memorial. The boys team will host Warsaw Thursday night.
