LIGONIER — The Whitko boys basketball team picked up its third win of the season Thursday night.

The Wildcats defeated West Noble 69-65 on the road to move to 3-2 for the year. Nate Walpole led all scorers with 28 points. Tanner Gaff had 12 and River West dished another 11 for the visiting team.

Whitko will host Wawasee Saturday night.

West Noble won the JV contest 61-57 in overtime.
