Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accidents:

6:52 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, Seventh Street and Kings Highway, Winona Lake. Drivers: Cynthia L. Runkel, 54, East CR 900N, North Manchester, and David B. Bishop, 60, Sunday Lane, Winona Lake. Runkel proceeded into the intersection and pulled in front of Bishop’s oncoming vehicle. Their vehicles collided. Damage up to $2,500.

5:53 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, East Winona Avenue and Argonne Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: Aurora B. Archer, 19, South Union Street, Warsaw, and Dawn A. Engler, 38, South CR 250E, Winona Lake. At the yellow light, Archer attempted to turn in front of Engler and their vehicles collided. Engler complained of knee pain but declined medical treatment. A passenger in Archer’s vehicle, Polly Archer, 57, North CR 100E, Warsaw, complained of neck pain. A second passenger in Archer’s vehicle, Annabel L. Archer, 0, South Union Street, Warsaw, had no visible injuries. Two passengers in Engler’s vehicle, Katharine Engler, 16, South CR 250E, Winona Lake, and Renee Engler, 14, Winona Lake, did not complain of any injuries. Damage up to $10,000.
