Triton Earns Quality Road Win
GOSHEN – In the first-ever matchup between the two schools, Triton played steady in a 53-41 win at Clinton Christian Tuesday night in boys basketball.
Masen Yeo continued his yo-yo season, scoring 23 points, adding five rebounds and four steals. Yeo, who was quiet in Triton’s loss Friday against NorthWood, hit 9-20 shots from the floor to lead all scorers.
Jordan Anderson chipped in 14 points and five steals for the Trojans while Grant Johnson tossed in 12 points and six boards.
Nathan Stuckman and Benson Yoder both finished with 15 points each for Clinton Christian, also combining for 16 of the Couriers’ 29 rebounds.
Triton had eight players score in the JV’s 52-27 win against Clinton Christian. Drew Stichter led the charge with 15 points, Tye Orsund had 11 points and Beau Hepler recorded eight assists.
Triton (3-2) will host Pioneer Friday in a Hoosier North Athletic Conference matchup while Clinton Christian (2-3) will host Benton Home School Friday evening.
