SYRACUSE — Those looking for some good eating this weekend will find it in Syracuse and be supporting two community minded organizations as well.

Both the Syracuse American Legion Auxiliary Unit 223 and the Syracuse Eagles Aerie 3760 are hosting dinners Friday evening, Dec. 11, and the Eagles has a dinner on Saturday, Dec. 12, too.

The Syracuse American Legion Auxiliary will serve a Swiss steak dinner from 5-7:30 p.m. or until sold out. Public ages 18 and older are invited to attend with proceeds going to Legion Auxiliary projects. The Legion is located at 1806 S. Huntington St. (SR 13) in Wawasee Village.

The regular Friday night fish fry dinner will be held at the Eagles, 12889 Kern Road, from 5-8 p.m. The public of all ages is welcome and the Eagles is a smoke free and family friendly facility.

The Eagles will also have a broasted chicken dinner from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, with karaoke entertainment by Ronda Scarlett beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Eagles is located west of Wawasee High School. Proceeds from the Eagles dinners will go to local projects.
