Jensen started his coaching career at Churubusco High School where he spent four seasons. He then took over at WCHS in 1996 and went 53-31 in eight seasons, winning Northern Lakes Conference championships in 1999, 2000 and 2001.

Jensen then was out of coaching and teaching for four years to go into the private sector. He was rehired as the Tigers’ coach in 2008 to replace Troy Akers, now the WCHS principal, and has went 39-44 over the last eight seasons.

Jensen is a 1983 Penn High School graduate and played for the Kingsmen before playing at Butler University. He is an attendance coordinator at WCHS.

The Tigers went 4-6 overall and 3-4 in the NLC during the 2015 campaign. Jensen’s son Michael, a junior at WCHS, was the starting quarterback this fall for the Tigers.
