Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

8:04 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, North SR 19, south of West CR 1100N, Nappanee. Driver: John A. Blakeslee, 61, West CR 900N, Milford. Driver struck a deer. Damages up to $5,000.

5:51 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, East Old Road 30, east of Hunter Ridge, Warsaw. Driver: Linda S. Needler, 66, East Ponderosa Drive, North Webster. Driver struck a deer. Damages up to $2,500.

3:07 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, South SR 15 and West CR 400S, Warsaw. Driver: William A. Moore, 17, West Monoquet Road, Warsaw. Driver rear ended unnamed vehicle in front of him. Damages up to $5,000.

6:42 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, East CR 1000N, east of North CR 500E, North Webster. Driver: Adam J. Niles, 33, East Polyanna Place, Cromwell. Driver struck a deer. Damages up to $5,000.

5:43 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, South Country Club Road, north of East Winona Beach Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Brenda M. Clark, 55, East Tulip Tree Drive. Driver struck a deer. Damages up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

2:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, North Parker and East Main streets, Warsaw. Driver: Bryan M. Alonso, 18, North CR 175E 166, Warsaw. Alonso attempted to park his car and went over the curb and into a light pole at Papa John’s Pizza. Damages up to $10,000.

7:48 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 1695 W. Lake St., Warsaw. Driver: Robert L. Howard, 64, Cambridge Drive, Warsaw. Officers report Howard appeared to be incredibly disoriented at the scene and very confused when they attempted to ask what had occurred. The owner of a parked vehicle struck by Howard noted he had seen Howard pull into the parking lot and drive directly into his vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.

4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, East Center, east of Robmar Drive, Warsaw. Ned Ver Hage, 89, Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake, and Sandra G. Hawks, 51, N. Arbutus Trail, Warsaw. Ver Hage sideswiped Hawks’s vehicle while shifting lanes. Damages up to $2,500.

2:52 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, North Detroit Street and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Amy C. Eskridge, 30, East Smith Street, Warsaw, and Patrick Hines, 47, Autumn Drive, Edgertn, Ohio. Hines, who was driving a semi, was northbound on Detroit when he was given the green light and began to shift his semi into gear to proceed forward. He was struck from behind by Eskridge. Eskridge and two passengers: David M. Vela, 30, Syracuse; and a newborn child; were escorted to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne for treatment of injuries. Eskridge complained of pain to her back and chest. The newborn had minor visible cuts to his legs, however no other visible injuries were noted. Damages up to $10,000.

2:41 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, North Parker Street and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Shaun E. Meeker, 34, Green Hill Drive, Warsaw, Aliesha W. Stevens, 22, South Jackson Street, Bremen. Meeker attempted to switch lanes and collided into the rear of Stevens’s vehicle as she passed him in the adjacent lane. Damages up to $2,500.

9:35 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, Lake City Highway and Silveus Crossing, Warsaw. Drivers: Scott G. Elkin, 55, Holton Road, LaPorte, and Christina Davis, 47, Coachlite Way, Cincinnati. Davis began to slow at the Silveus crossing intersection and was rear ended by Elkin, who was driving a semi. Damages up to $25,000.
