SYRACUSE — Wawasee High School’s Choral Department will present a Christmas celebration for the public at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the high school auditorium.

The program will feature both secular and sacred music of the Christmas season. Participating will be the beginning choir, advanced choir and Vocal Motion show choir.

Music of different countries and cultures will begin the concert. French, Spanish, German, African, Russian, British and American spirituals will be featured. The first half of the program culminates with the “Hallelujah Chorus” by George Handel.

The second half of the program will feature secular and fun favorites of Christmas with a special appearance from Santa.

Ethan Wright and Alexandra Fiscus are the choreographers for the program. Connie Meadows is the director of the choirs.

Tickets for the program are $5 for general admission. They will be available at the door or can be purchased through Meadows by calling (574) 457-3147, extension 2258.
