UPDATE: At 9:35 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, officers with Warsaw Police Department as well as Lutheran EMS responded to an accident located at Lake City Highway and Silveus crossing.

According to an accident reported filed by WPD, the accident occurred between a semi, driven by Scott G. Elkin, 55, Holton Road, LaPorte, and a minivan, driven by Christina Davis, 47, Coachlite Way, Cincinnati. Davis began to slow at the Silveus crossing intersection and was rear ended by Elkin.

Damages are estimated up to $25,000.

WARSAW — Emergency personnel are currently responding to an accident involving a semi and a minivan at Silveus Crossing and US 30, Warsaw.

Warsaw Police Department and Lutheran EMS responded to the scene.
