AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School boys basketball teams went 1-3 in action Wednesday night.

Tanner Trippiedi scored 15 points as the Valley 8th grad A team defeated Northfield 39-19.

Braxton Tolson finished with eight points and Luke Prater had seven for the winners. Jace Potter added three points and Jaydin Conley and Jalen Potter each had two for Valley.

The Valley 7th grade A team lost 28-23 to Northfield. Quentin Aldridge scored eight points and David Baker six for Valley. Ethan Hartman had four points, Payton Mills three and Alex Craft two for Valley.

The Valley 6th grade A team lost 38-32 to Triton.  Rex Kirchenstien led the way for Valley with 14 points and 17 rebounds. Brayden Shepherd ad DJ Estep each scored seven points and Payton Potter had six rebounds.

The Valley 6th grade B team lost 21-18 to Triton. Torrin Lewis led Valley with 12 points and seven rebounds. Wade Melanson had four points and 10 rebounds.
