Karen S. Kindig, 70, Mentone, passed at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw.
She was born on Feb. 7, 1945, in Fulton County, to Gerald and Emalene (Rhoades) Kindig. She had been married to Don Craig he survives. She had been a secretary at DaLite Screen of Warsaw and Craig Welding and Manufacturing. She graduated from Talma High School in 1963. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and gardening. She also loved to watch her grandchildren at their sporting events.
She is survived by her companion: Don Craig, Mentone; daughters: Debbie (Troy) Butt, Dallas, Texas; Brenda Craig, South Bend; son: Jay (Shelly) Craig, Mentone; grandchildren: Katie Petlak; Lexi Butt; and Alec; Emma; and Lydia Craig; and brother: Richard (Betty) Kindig, Silver Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Fred Kindig; Jerry Kindig; and sister: Joyce Kindig
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, with one hour of visitation proud. Services will be at King Memorial Home, Mentone, and will be officiated by Rev. Junior Bose. Burial will be at Sycamore Cemetery, Mentone.
